Event Manager / Planner
Under the direction of the LWC Manager, plans and supervises staffing, fitness, and pool needs for the LWC. Responsibilities include overseeing fitness programs such as aqua and pool maintenance, assisting in planning and coordinating group fitness programs, and managing staff schedules. The role also involves assisting with maintenance equipment repairs and the upkeep of the LWC, including the competition/therapy pool. Ensures daily deposit procedures and petty cash management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Ensures the building is open and ready by scheduled hours and securely closed at the end of each day.
- Supervises staff participation in cleaning and upkeep, and ensures training in PPE safety.
- Ensures staff are trained to utilize computer systems effectively.
- Promotes teamwork among lifeguards, front staff, and fitness instructors; makes performance and disciplinary recommendations to the LWC Manager.
- Ensures staff are trained in customer service and adhere to employee standards of behavior.
