This role is located at Oso Grande Windfarm in Maljamar, NM. It is considered an entry‑level role in the Wind Turbine Industry. You’ll be responsible for the service and maintenance of Siemens Gamesa wind turbines at the site. The selected candidate will provide excellent service for our customers, complete technical work orders, interact with teammates, and maintain a safety‑first mentality. A background in skilled trades or other technical work experience is preferred but not required.

• Contributes to the improvement of new and updated field procedures and standard methodologies.
• Ability to work inside wind turbine enclosures at an elevated height of 300 feet.
• Our technicians need to think clearly and maintain composure during stressful and sometimes hazardous situations.
• Physical requirements include ladder climbing (minimum 267 steps), stair climbing, standing for long periods, walking, lifting, bending, twisting, work above shoulders, pushing, pulling, exposure to vibration, chemicals, confined spaces, use of various hand tools, and extreme weather conditions.
• Capable of efficiently tackling additional roles and responsibilities at an operating wind farm.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required. A technical college degree, certification(s), or apprenticeships in a related field (electrical or mechanical systems) is desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to work safely and effectively in a team. Must meet body weight restrictions of 265 pounds or less and pass a medical physical.
• Strong ability to prioritize and plan daily/weekly work with a high level of quality orientation, and analyze and resolve problems independently.
• Hands experience with electrical systems, including PLC programming and converters is preferred but not required.
• Experience interacting with customers at various levels of responsibility within their organizations.

Driving is a crucial function of the job and applicants must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record loyees must maintain a valid license and acceptable record, and may be subject to periodic DMV checks.
