Administers prescribed medications and treatments as defined by state regulations to residents and maintains related medical records under supervision of a Nurse Supervisor.

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments as defined by state regulations in accordance with approved techniques and notes time and amount on resident’s chart.
• Verifies identity of resident receiving medication and records name of drug, dosage, and time of administration on specified forms and records.
• Presents medication to residents and observes ingestion or other application, or administers medication, using specified procedures.

• Certified as required by state law.
