The Job Recruiter will identify, recruit and screen potential employees for specific positions in a client's company or organization. Will also maintain affiliation agreements with institutes of higher education.
- Consults with leaders to understand the requirements, duties, and qualifications desired for specified vacant position(s).
- Checks candidates’ references and credentials, verifying experience and backgrounds. Screens candidates, selects qualified and interested candidates for the interviewing phase, and then connects viable candidates with hiring managers.
- Organizes and attends job fairs, campus events, and other networking opportunities.
- Follows up with hiring managers after the interview process to determine whether a placement can be made; collects feedback when placement is unsuccessful.
- Arranges meeting locations, travel, and/or accommodations for applicants when necessary.
- Organize and maintain all affiliation agreements to ensure a pipeline of recruits

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with aptitude in conducting interviews.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Thorough understanding of EEO, ADA, and other related employment laws and guidelines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field preferred.
- At least two years of human resources or related experience required.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
- SHRM’s Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Thorough understanding of event planning practices and techniques.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with vendors.
Experience
One year office/clinical experience in a medical setting preferred, or recent training in a similar field.
Education
- Associate’s degree preferred;
Bachelor’s degree preferred. - At least three years’ company event planning experience preferred.
