Job SummaryUnder general supervision, this position provides first-line technical support for network issues, following defined processes for both internal and external connections. The incumbent will learn JB Hunt’s network and grow an existing skillset to provide best-in-class support.
Key Responsibilities- Delivers technical network support to clients local and remote
- Monitors and addresses network alerts, outages, and concerns
- Coordinates with Service Desk and other teams to resolve events
- Completes tasks for network operations and new site startups, including contractor coordination and equipment setup
- Ensures accurate documentation and monitoring for new sites
- Assists on projects involving software-defined networking
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer and Information Science, Engineering or other related fields of study, or foreign equivalent, or suitable combination of education, experience, and training, and/or military equivalent
- Knowledge of basic routing and switching
- Knowledge of any of the following:
Cisco, Fortinet, Arista, F5 BigIP, Palo Alto, Juniper Mist, Azure or GCP
- Certified Network Associate (CCNA) - Cisco Systems, Inc.
- N+ (Network+) Certification - Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA)

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company’s bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
