Nelson is seeking a driven, customer-focused Acquisition Specialist to join our team in Lowell, AR!

Position Overview The ideal candidate must be willing to work hard and bring a great attitude every day. This individual will connect with people at a high level — both internally and externally — work as part of a team, and carry out Nelson core values daily.
No experience necessary. All newly hired Acquisition Specialists will complete paid training to learn how to:
Appraise a vehicle
Deliver and present an offer
Overcome objections
Successfully purchase inventory
You show up ready to work hard — we will help prepare you for success.
Responsibilities The Acquisition Specialist is responsible for:
Providing a great customer experience
Building and maintaining customer relationships
Exceptional communication over the phone and in person
Communicating outcomes of customer interactions and appointments
Actively completing daily follow-up inside the CRMAccurately assessing vehicle condition
Delivering appraisal offers to customers
Overcoming objections professionally
Working collaboratively with all team members
Purchasing profitable inventory for the company
Qualifications
Previous Service Advisor, retail sales, or related experience preferred
Automotive or mechanical knowledge preferred
Valid in-state driver’s license
Professional personal appearance
Desire to maintain a positive attitude in a team-oriented work environment
Ability to work on your feet for the majority of a full-time work week Strong attention to detail in task-oriented responsibilities
Customer-focused, friendly personality
All applicants must be able to pass pre-employment screening, including a background check and drug screen.
Physical Requirements Ability to walk dealership lots and inspect vehicles in various weather conditions.
Ability to bend, kneel, and enter/exit vehicles repeatedly.
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
Regular use of computer, phone, and appraisal tools.
Must be comfortable driving a wide range of vehicles.
Work Environment Fast-paced dealership environment.
Frequent interaction with customers and sales teams.
Work performed indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
