Journeyman Electrician

Base pay range: $30.00/hr - $35.00/hr

Wachter is currently accepting applications for Journeyman Electricians to perform service and installation work in commercial and industrial environments. This is a long-term opportunity for a motivated team player who can also work independently and find solutions to get jobs done. Pay will be based on experience.

• Lead foreman on heavy commercial projects at industrial-type sites, performing basic tasks
• Run larger projects with extensive time constraints; typically operate with a crew of at least 4 technicians (2 licensed electricians and 2 apprentices)
• Collaborate with team through good written and verbal communication
• Work up to 60 hours per week as needed
• Read blueprints, one-lines, and schematics
• Perform multiple aspects of the trade, from small pipe and wire projects to generator and UPS installs
• Possess a current Journeyman's License
• Operate scissor, boom, and bucket lifts as necessary for installations
• Knowledge and experience with industrial controls/automation and PLCs
• Run, bend conduit; pull and terminate wire in multiple scenarios
• Have an Industrial/Manufacturing background in electrical systems with voltages ranging from 24v DC to 480v AC
• OSHA 10 or 30 is a plus

• Current Journeyman's License
• Ability to read blueprints, one lines, and schematics
• Willingness to work up to 60 hours per week
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Experience with scissor, boom, or bucket lifts as needed
• Experience with industrial controls/automation and PLCs
• Proficiency in conduit work, wiring, and terminations
• Industrial/manufacturing electrical background; experience with 24v DC to 480v AC
• OSHA 10 or 30 is a plus
