• 5+ years of experience managing heavy highway projects (either from the office or in the field)
• Experience working on public and private projects
• Microsoft Office experience
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to compose formal letters
• Must live within 1 hour of the job location

• Civil engineering or construction management degree
• Experience using estimating software (B2W), accounting software (Spectrum), or project management software (Project Sight or Procore), and scheduling software (Primavera P6)
• AutoCAD or Bluebeam experience

Our Construction Project Manager works from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday
. You'll be in charge of overseeing, leading, and managing DOT bridge and highway jobs, taking care of the vital elements that keep our projects smooth and successful. Meeting deadlines and ensuring accuracy are crucial parts of the job. You'll be responsible for:

• Completing quantity take-offs and estimating job costs
• Negotiating contracts, material prices, and change orders
• Analyzing production data and updating costs when appropriate
• Setting schedules and establishing timelines
• Coordinating and submitting shop drawings
• Ensuring smooth communication between field and office teams
• Leading project meetings and ensuring all team members are on the same page
