About
This role is generally responsible for providing care to vascular and interventional radiology patients for The Vascular + Vein Center in Lowell, Massachusetts. The Physician Assistant will care for patients, maintain accurate patient records, and schedule and administer follow-up appointments to patients as required. The Physician Assistant will collaborate with clinical leadership and will always act within the scope of practice and under the authority of the attending surgeon.
The individual in this role will be responsible for carrying out all assigned responsibilities and duties within the guidelines set forth by the physician staff, and in adherence to the regulations outline by the relevant state Board of Medicine Licensure.
The Vascular Care Group, Tufts Medicine and Commonwealth Radiology Associates have partnered to open a state-of-the-art outpatient Vascular + Vein Center in Lowell, MA. The center provides advanced diagnostic and therapeutic services, including vascular interventions, vein treatments, and specialized medical care, all in a comfortable, cutting-edge environment designed to enhance the patient’s experience. This collaboration ensures patients receive the highest quality care from a team of leading vascular and interventional specialists.
This role would be part-time, scheduled for Thursdays and Fridays, flexing up as needed.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Diagnosis and management of patients with vascular disease including performance of procedures and providing optimal patient care from check-in to discharge
- Comprehensive history and physical exams including ordering diagnostic tests, prescribing, dispensing, and administering medications

- Registered as a Physician Assistant in the state of Massachusetts
- Passed certification examination of the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, Inc. (NCCPA)
- 3+ years of recent experience as a Physician Assistant in a vascular setting preferred
- 1+ year of out-patient care preferred
- Ability to work effectively as a team member developing work relationships with everyone in the office
- Willing to be available for local and/or regional assignments as needed
- High standard of moral and ethical behavior
$95,000 - $150,000 per year. Negotiable based on skills and experience.
