PCB Designer

Candidate will interface with multiple engineering groups and provide design and layout support for RF printed circuit boards using Altium Designer. Responsibilities will include schematic entry, design rule checking, and post processing of design data. This will include verification of manufacturing data and development of all manufacturing documentation, including fabrication and assembly drawings. Some library maintenance may be required, as well as other departmental support duties such as data management and peer reviews.

As a PCB Designer, you'll be responsible for all phases of the creation and management of the printed circuit design front-to-back process.

Candidate must have some experience in PCB design. Experience in layout of RF/Microwave PCBs and an understanding of design for manufacturing and assembly, and RF layout and design practices are helpful. Familiarity with Agile data management system would be helpful. Experience with AutoCAD is a plus.

Candidate must have the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects as well as delegate tasks to others. Must work well in one‑on‑one discussions with engineers as well as in multifunctional team settings. Must coordinate and participate in team meetings for PCB reviews.

Job Qualifications:
  • Experience or training in PCB design and layout.
  • Experience with layout and design for RF circuit boards is a plus.
  • Altium experience is a plus.
  • Associate's degree in PC Board Design or Electrical Engineering.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well with both internal and external engineering teams.
  • Good organization skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced engineering environment.
  • This is an in‑office position. Work location is in Lowell, MA.

The hourly rate for this position is $20- $40 per hour. Actual salary offered to candidates will depend on several factors, including but not limited to, work location, relevant candidates’ experience, education, and specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.
