OverviewWe are seeking a Principal Product Engineer to support the transition of a wide range of microwave semiconductor products‑from MHz to 50+ GHz‑into high‑volume production. These products serve markets such as communications, test and measurement, and aerospace and defense. In this role, you will develop production test plans, design and debug RF test boards and fixtures for automated test equipment, and analyze data to establish test limits and datasheet specifications.
You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams throughout sample, pre‑production, and full production release, while also coordinating with internal and offshore test facilities. Strong RF test, semiconductor characterization, and cross‑disciplinary collaboration skills are essential.
- Develop production test plans and product datasheets
- Design and evaluate RF/microwave test boards and automated test fixtures
- Perform small‑signal and large‑signal RF measurements
- Conduct Gage R&R and other measurement system analyses
- Perform statistical data analysis and yield analysis
- Lead project reviews and ensure manufacturing readiness (hardware, documentation, BOMs, costing)
- Drive on‑schedule new product introductions
- BS in Electrical Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 7+ years in semiconductor Product, Test, or Applications Engineering
- Experience with RF/microwave devices such as PIN diodes, attenuators, switches, limiters, and modules
- Strong RF measurement and semiconductor characterization skills
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and technical communication
- Must be a U.S. Person under ITAR requirements
