* Job Description:

** Candidate will support the performance of product qualification tests and process reliability experiments on semiconductor circuits and test structures. Candidate will report to our DFT. This position offers interns a great opportunity to gain exposure to real world industrial products and practice.
** Specific

Responsibilities Include:

*
* • Identify and prepare samples for reliability tests
• Develop test fixtures and/or circuit boards for environmental tests as required; may include mechanical assembly and soldering
• Make DC and RF electrical measurements
• Execute qualification and/or reliability tests
• Perform statistical analysis of measurement results
• Support failure analysis as required
• Report results, including recommendations for reliability improvement
** During the 12 weeks each Intern will:*
* • Be given an individual and well-defined project with set outcome goals
• Gain hands on experience
• Receive excellent training and ongoing supervision
• Be invited to attend an intern webinar series
• Attend networking/social events
• Attend and present at Poster Session about each Interns project successes and pitfalls
• Receive formal, written feedback

* Job Requirements:

*
* • Completion of at least two years of a traditional four-year degree program, majoring in EE, Physics, Materials Science, or other technical discipline
• Basic understanding of electrical measurements
• Basic understanding of electronic principals, including understanding of semiconductor devices
• Basic computer programming skills
• Familiarity with data analysis software tools, such as Excel, Math Cad, Minitab, or JMP desired
• Ability to work with minimal direct supervision

The hourly Range for this position is $20 – $47 per hour. Actual salary offered to candidates will depend on several factors, including but not limited to, work location, relevant candidates’ experience, education, and specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.
