MACOM sells and distributes products globally via a sales channel comprised ofa direct field sales force, authorized sales representatives and leading industry distributors. Our sales team is trained across all of our products togive our customers insights into our entire portfolio.
MACOM is seekinga self-motivated and enthusiastic semiconductor manufacturing operator/tech forour Wafer Fab. The operator/tech will report into the manufacturing team and perform general manufacturing duties onthe production floor such as fabrication (lithography, etch, metals, diffusion,implant, grind/polish, glassing, dicing or wafer electrical test).
Essential Functions- Perform a varietyof functions in the production of semiconductor devices in a cleanroomenvironment.
- Set-up, operate,load, and monitor specialized equipment to ensure quality product is produced.
- May be responsible for monitoring equipment operation, inspecting final product,cleaning the work environment, and performing data entry.
- Work on one ofour 12 hour compressed work week night shifts, or day shifts. All shifts alternate working 3, 12-hour shifts one week (36 hours) and 4, 12 hours shifts the following week (48 hours). Shifts will work either
Sun, Mon, Tue alternating Wed or Thu, Fri, Sat alternating Wed.
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years prior manufacturing experience in semiconductor wafer fabrication or test or equivalent.
- Ability to sit orstand for 12 hours at a time with the flexibility to work day or night shiftsfor training purposes.
- Solid computer and math skills
- Good communication skills, both written and oral; ability to read and write effectively.
- Comfortable working around chemicals.
- Ability tomulti-task and approach tasks with detail-oriented manner.
- Required to weara cleanroom smocks and proper safety personal protective equipment.
- Great work ethicand ability to work well with others.

The Hourly Range for this position is $17– $28 per hour. Actual salary offered to candidates will depend on several factors, including but not limited to, work location, relevant candidates’ experience, education,and specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.
