Fixed Term ContractJob Purpose:
Under general supervision, plans, coordinates and schedules the requisitioning and manufacturing of parts and components required for the assembly of finished products for an assigned product line.
Roles and Responsibilities:- Execute MPS
- Review new orders and bookings daily
- Execute Purchase Orders for material procurement
- Generate and Maintainry/CM Schedules
- Generate and maintain accurate Customer OTD (on time delivery)
- Measure and Monitor OTD
- Measure and monitor late backlog
- Maintain master data – planning
- ISO Maintenance
- Sap Maintenance
- Ad Hoc Tasks as agreed with Planning Manager
Required:
- Strong planning and organisational skills.
- Strong Analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Thorough working knowledge of MRP (inputs, logic and outputs) within an ERP system
- Good Spoken and Written English
- Minimum 5 years experience in Production Planning and Vendor Scheduling
- Minimum 3 years experience working with an ERP system.
