Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer/Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in programming CNC machines to produce high-quality components. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Develop and optimize CNC programs for both Lathe and Milling machining operations, ensuring high accuracy and efficiency.
- Must have 3+ years of Mastercam 19 or up
- Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes and milling machining equipment.
- Conduct inspections using coordinate measuring machines, micrometers, bore gauges, and other precision measuring tools to ensure product quality.
- Apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles in programming and inspection tasks.
- Maintain tooling inventory and ensure all tools are calibrated and in good working condition.
- Fabricate components as needed while adhering to safety standards and best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in CAD software for designing parts and tooling.
- Familiarity with electrical discharge machining (EDM) processes is a plus.
- Experience with tooling setup, maintenance, and optimization.
- Knowledge of coordinate measuring machines (CMM) for quality control purposes.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and bore gauges effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
