AI Data Engineer

The Data & AI Engineer role supports the creation and ongoing operation of data pipelines, analytics solutions, and AI-enabled capabilities in an entry-level position. You will work alongside experienced engineers and business teams while building practical skills across data engineering, cloud platforms, and applied AI.

In this position, you will help build and support data pipelines, analytics solutions, and AI-enabled capabilities, contributing to trusted datasets and reliable data flows.

• Build and maintain data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
• Use SQL and Python to process, validate, and prepare data.
• Assist in organizing data into trusted, reusable datasets used for reporting and analytics.
• Support data quality checks, help investigate issues, and monitor pipeline performance.
• Assist with developing and testing AI and machine learning solutions.
• Work with cloud services and tools related to data storage, processing, and model development.
• Document data flows, code, and technical processes.
• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, analysts, and business partners.
• Follow established standards for data security, governance, and software development.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Foundational experience with SQL and Python gained through coursework, projects, internships, or work experience.
• Understanding of databases, data structures, and basic data processing concepts.
• Interest in cloud data platforms and artificial intelligence.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn new tools and technologies.

• Exposure to a cloud platform such as Google Cloud

• Familiarity with data warehouses,
  ETL/ELT pipelines, or orchestration tools.
• Experience with Git and basic software development practices.

The pay range for this position is $71,900 to $103,350 per year.
