Residential Direct Care Professional – Lower Burrell, PA

Join Paula Teacher & Associates, Inc. as a Residential Direct Care Professional. This role offers a patient‑centred, compassionate environment for individuals with special needs.

Location: Lower Burrell, PA

Pay: $17.00 per hour plus paid training.

We provide a full range of services for individuals with special needs, focusing on behavior, instruction, and habilitation.

Work the afternoon shift Monday from 3:30 pm‑10:15 pm, Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30 pm‑10:15 pm or 2 pm‑9 pm, and Sundays from 7:45 am‑3:45 pm. Shift differentials are offered.

Direct care staff assist residents with activities of daily living, personal hygiene, socialization, meal preparation, and teaching independence through daily living skills such as laundry, maintaining their home, shopping, and community integration based on the individual's area of interest.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Preferred experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental health diagnosis in a residential setting.
• TB/Physical.
• Must successfully complete a mandatory online ODP orientation program and DHS Medication Administration training.

Part‑time, on‑site.

Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History Background Check (Act 34). All applicants must be willing to undergo this background check as a condition of employment, in accordance with Pennsylvania law.
