Location & PayLocation: Lower Burrell, PA
Pay: $17.00 per hour plus paid training.
About Paula Teacher & Associates, Inc.We provide a full range of services for individuals with special needs, focusing on behavior, instruction, and habilitation.
ResponsibilitiesWork the afternoon shift Monday from 3:30 pm‑10:15 pm, Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30 pm‑10:15 pm or 2 pm‑9 pm, and Sundays from 7:45 am‑3:45 pm. Shift differentials are offered.
Direct care staff assist residents with activities of daily living, personal hygiene, socialization, meal preparation, and teaching independence through daily living skills such as laundry, maintaining their home, shopping, and community integration based on the individual's area of interest.
Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Preferred experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental health diagnosis in a residential setting.
- TB/Physical.
- Must successfully complete a mandatory online ODP orientation program and DHS Medication Administration training.
