Position: Custodian Position at The Salvation Army
Join The Salvation Army as a Custodian responsible for keeping facilities safe, clean, and sanitary. This role supports community ministry through diligent janitorial and maintenance work.

In this part-time role, you will perform a range of custodial duties to ensure The Salvation Army Encounter Community Church Ministries are well maintained. Key responsibilities include vacuuming, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, and maintaining safety and sanitation standards. Your efforts will contribute significantly to a welcoming environment for clients and community members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform light cleaning duties in defined areas

• Empty garbage receptacles and manage waste

• Vacuum carpets, wash floors, and dust surfaces

• Clean and maintain bathrooms and kitchen areas

• Assist with minor repairs and report larger issues

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months custodial experience

• High School Diploma is required

• Familiarity with health and safety regulations

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance

• Reliable and possess good communication skills
