Part-Time Security Officer at Quest-A Society

Ensure safety at Quest–A Society as a part-time Healthcare Security Officer in Lower Sackville, NS. Monitor premises, and assist staff while providing excellent customer service every shift.

This role involves weekend shifts, focusing on ground patrol, surveillance monitoring, and access control. You will respond to emergencies and work in collaboration with staff and law enforcement to uphold safety standards. Experience in security or law enforcement is preferred as you protect the well-being of individuals with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols of the site and facilities

• Operate security cameras and monitor alarms effectively

• Manage access to restricted areas for authorized personnel

• Respond to emergencies like medical crises and evacuation

• Assist staff and provide customer service to visitors

Requirements:

• Ability to obtain Security License for Nova Scotia

• Valid Intermediate First Aid & CPR - Level C certification

• Fluent in English, both oral and written

• Experience in security or related fields preferred

• Certifications in Use of Force and Management of Aggressive Behavior
