Your role involves ensuring safety while providing support to patients and staff.
In this key position, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment during 12-hour rotating shifts. Utilizing strong communication and judgment skills, you will patrol hospital grounds, monitor security systems, and respond to emergencies. Ideal candidates thrive in fast-paced environments and have a genuine approach to customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine foot patrols across hospital premises
• Monitor security cameras for potential risks
• Greet and assist visitors, staff, and patients
• Utilize de-escalation skills in conflict situations
• Respond to emergencies and document incidents
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid Nova Scotia Security License ability
• First Aid and CPR Level C certification
• English fluency, written and spoken
• Completion of use of force training by Paladin
