Our client, an accountancy practice based in Lowestoft, is excited to announce that they are looking for an Assistant Accounts Clerk to join their team.
This is an excellent long-term opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a supportive practice, with a clear progression path towards managing their own client portfolio within 2-3 years and potential advancement to management level thereafter.
Key Requirements- Experience working within an accountancy practice
- Experience preparing annual financial statements
- Experience calculating tax liabilities for both companies and individuals
- Ability to liaise effectively with clients, HMRC, and Companies House
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Preparation of CIS returns
- Preparation of personal tax returns
- Strong telephone manner when speaking with clients, HMRC, and Companies House.
