Invigilator​/Reader​/Scribe

Support Staff Pay Scale B - £12.65 per hour (plus holiday pay)

East Point Academy is recruiting reliable and hardworking people to join our exam invigilation team. We need staff who can be available on a casual and flexible basis to invigilate external and internal examinations and provide assistance as scribes or readers to students who need extra support in exams.

• Ensure the fair and proper conduct of exams in an environment that enables a student to perform at their best.
• Ensure that exams are carried out in accordance with the rules set out by the examination boards and East Point Academy.
• Be punctual for duty and reliable.
• Be available for mock exams (November and February/March) and the peak period (May and June).

• Good numeracy and literacy levels.
• Good communication skills.
• Attention to details.
• Flexible approach to work.
• Computer literacy (required to work with a computer on occasion).
• Previous experience helpful but not essential; training will be provided.
