The SEND Team at East Coast College is looking for Learning Support Assistants to join them in providing invaluable support to both students and staff, and in optimising engagement, progression and achievement across our Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth campuses. In this role you will work with a range of students across different curriculum areas, collaborate with tutors to identify learning outcomes, and help drive student success and achievement.

• Experience working with a wide range of learning and/or physical needs (SEND)
• Support learning in diverse settings such as classroom, workshop, work experience, trips and visits

East Coast College is required to hold a minimum Level 2 or equivalent in English and maths; evidence of this qualification must be provided. All staff are required to hold a BMI and discharge clearance, and you will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check for suitability. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and you will be required to make a criminal conviction declaration if shortlisted.
