Clarion Corvus Trust is seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspiring Assistant Headteacher at Pakefield High School during maternity cover. The role will coordinate and lead whole‑school responsibility for all SEN, attendance and Children in Care activities.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all SEN, attendance and Children in Care activities and initiatives.
  • Develop a strong, collaborative team and drive high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Ensure outstanding outcomes for all students.
  • Work under the direction of the Head of School and alongside the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Set high standards for students, staff and the school community.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Ambitious and driven leader capable of bringing vision, cohesion and excellence to the role.
  • Willing to undertake safeguarding screening, including Enhanced DBS and at least two references covering the last 3 years, preferably from work with Children or Vulnerable Adults.
  • Post exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and subject to criminal conviction declaration if shortlisted.
