  • 24 hours per week (6 hours per day over 4 days. Working days to be discussed during interview)

Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our welcoming village school. Our children are eager to learn, highly motivated, and a pleasure to work with, while our dedicated staff team works exceptionally well together to create a positive and nurturing environment. The HLTA will support children’s learning and development, be confident in leading whole‑class learning when required, and work collaboratively with teachers and colleagues to ensure every child reaches their potential.

Working

Hours

The exact working pattern will be agreed with the successful candidate at interview but will fall within our academy hours of 08:30am – 15:30pm over 4 days. Working days will be agreed during interview.

This post is likely to come under the requirements of the Childcare (Disqualification) 2009 Regulations and the successful applicant will be required to complete a declaration form to establish whether they are disqualified under these regulations.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and you will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced DBS check with barred list. You will be asked to make a criminal conviction declaration if you are shortlisted for the post. Guidance about whether a conviction or caution should be disclosed can be found on the Ministry of Justice website.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English is an essential requirement for this role.
