About This Role
An exciting senior leadership opportunity has arisen at Ormiston Denes Academy. We are seeking a passionate and experienced leader, who is ambitious, dedicated and determined to make a difference to students while upholding the highest standards, as an Assistant Principal with responsibility for Behaviour and Attitudes.
The successful candidate will have a strong pastoral background, with proven experience of how they have made an impact on data and processes relating to student behaviour and able uphold and continue to develop a well embedded culture of behaviour and attitudes across the academy, so that all students embody the academy expectations of Ready, Responsible, Respectful, Kind and Proud.
You will be leading a well-established team of Year Leaders and Pastoral Managers, offering support, mentoring and advice and guidance where needed and undertake responsibilities as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
Qualifications- Creative, inspirational, well-qualified teacher with outstanding behaviour management skills and excellent pastoral, inclusion or SEND knowledge.
- Able to maintain standards and drive continuous improvement across the academy in all areas relating to behaviour and attitudes.
- Confident in the development and use of systems and data tracking.
- Able to effectively communicate with students, parents and staff.
- Keen to make a difference to the education and overall wellbeing of our students.
