• Salary: £27,255- £29,541per annum(Dependent on qualifications and experience)
• Actual Salary:£23,134 - £25,074 per annum

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people? We are looking for a dedicated Pastoral & Learning Mentor to support students with complex Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, helping them to thrive both academically and personally.

In this rewarding role, you will deliver targeted pastoral interventions, provide one-to-one and small group support, and help students develop essential life skills, confidence,resilience and independence. Using trauma-informed approaches, you will play a key role in promoting positive wellbeing and engagement across the school.

Working closely with teachers,families and support staff, you willmonitorprogress, contribute to student reviews, and help create a safe, nurturing environment where every student can succeed.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting young people with SEMH needs,strong communication and relationship-building skills, and a proactive, creative approach to supporting students. Knowledge of trauma-informed practice and inclusive education would be an advantage.
