Behaviour and Pastoral Assistant
Ormiston Denes Academy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour and Pastoral Assistant to support students' wellbeing, behaviour, and personal development. This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of young people.
Responsibilities- Provide targeted behaviour and pastoral support to individual students or small groups.
- Monitor and record student progress, behaviour and any wellbeing concerns.
- Work closely with teaching staff, pastoral leaders and the wider inclusion team to support students who may experience behavioural, emotional or social challenges.
- Help students engage positively with school life and achieve their potential.
- Experience working with children or young people, preferably in an educational or pastoral setting.
- Strong communication skills, empathy and ability to develop relationships.
