Currently they are looking for a driven, proactive and detail-focused Finance Assistant / Credit Controller to join their team in Lowestoft.

🔎 The Role

This is a varied and hands-on position within their Finance department, offering the opportunity to play a key role in supporting the business's financial operations.

Core Responsibilities:

Processing sales invoices and credit notes

Maintaining customer accounts and credit limits

Proactively engaging with customers to ensure payments are made within agreed terms

Chasing overdue debts

Journal processing

Posting bank receipts and payments

Completing bank reconciliations

Processing expense claims

Managing company credit cards

Assisting with administration of the company fleet

Providing holiday cover for the purchase ledger

👤 What We're Looking For

Experience working within a finance function

Good working knowledge of Excel

Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload

Logical and methodical approach

Excellent communication skills

A supportive team player who takes ownership and works with attention to detail
