Our community‑based support care workers provide care to our service users within their own homes to help them remain as independent as possible. The role of a care assistant is extremely rewarding and fulfilling, with many opportunities to develop within your career at Abbots Care Dorset including paid Diplomas and career progression.

Experience isn’t always necessary as we have a comprehensive training and induction course and shadow with you until you are ready.

• Providing personal care including administering medication
• Supporting our service users with social activities
• Assisting with meal preparation
• Supporting with domestic tasks within their homes
• Offering companionship to our clients

• Hourly rate of £13.35 – guaranteed hours
• Fantastic rates of pay with paid mileage of 45 pence (Highest in the area)

• Full and part‑time hours available between 7 am – 10 pm

We also offer flexibility within our roles to cater to each employee’s needs, whether that be to work around family time or other commitments. Employees have the option of contracts up to 40 hrs with salaries of £26,665.60 per annum depending on their availability.

Due to the nature of the role and being community based in and around Dorset you will need to have a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle, as well as the right to work in the UK.
