Support Worker, Mental Health

Support Worker – Lowestoft £13.89 ph up to £14.89 ph with overtime and evening/weekend enhancements (Ts & Cs apply)

We have full and part time opportunities available (22.5-35 hours)

Typical Shifts are: 7am-2:30pm, 2:30pm-10pm, 10pm-8am (Sleep ins)

• Help people gain more independence in their daily lives
• Work within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people
• Teach new life skills, assist with personal care, and encourage access to local communities
• Socialise and facilitate a range of activities for residents
• Provide support during local area outings and in‑service activities
• Follow Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice
• Support individuals with enhanced needs, including behaviours of distress, mental health conditions, autism, potential forensic histories, and trauma experiences

• Resilient, flexible and composed approach to care work
• Experience following Positive Behaviour Support plans and using reflective practice
• Experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support for distress behaviours, mental health conditions, autism, forensic histories, or trauma
• Good communication skills and a caring attitude

• Enhanced evening and weekend pay at an additional 50p per hour (Ts & Cs apply)
