The role
Meridian Business Support are working with a highly respected care provider to recruit a Regional Operations Director to oversee services across Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex. This senior leadership role reports to the Chief Operating Officer and sits within the wider operational leadership team.
You will take full ownership of regional performance, ensuring outstanding care delivery alongside strong commercial results.
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across a group of care homes in the East region
- Support, coach and develop Operations Managers and Home Managers to achieve high standards
- Maintain a visible presence within homes through regular visits and engagement
- Lead responses to quality, safeguarding or compliance concerns in partnership with the central quality team
- Drive occupancy, revenue and EBITDA performance across the region
- Build strong relationships with commissioners and support local fee negotiations
This Regional Operations Director role requires a credible, commercially aware leader with a strong understanding of the care sector.
- Proven experience in a senior operational leadership position within care homes or healthcare
- Track record of managing multiple services with responsibility for quality, compliance and financial performance
- Strong knowledge of CQC standards and adult social care regulation
- Confident in improving underperforming services and embedding sustainable quality improvements
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and people leadership skills
