Warehouse Operative; Forklift

Position: Warehouse Operative (with Forklift)
Hales Group are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a well‑established business in Lowestoft. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands‑on, varied role and wants to be part of a small, friendly and supportive team.
You will play a key part in ensuring the warehouse runs smoothly, supporting production targets, and contributing to the overall performance of the business.

Key Responsibilities
 
Picking and packing to support daily production
Manual handling and lifting throughout the shift
Goods in/out handling
Operating FLT counterbalance trucks (up to 2500kg)
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Supporting continuous improvement across the site  To be considered for the role of Warehouse Operative you will need:
 
An up‑to‑date FLT Counterbalance Licence (up to 2500kg)
Physically fit and comfortable with regular manual lifting
A positive, can‑do attitude and willingness to be a team player
A strong focus on safety in every process
Agile, adaptable, and willing to learn new processes
Keen to contribute to continuous improvement across the site
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently when required

Location:

Lowestoft, Suffolk
Pay: £12.71 per hour

Contract:

Temporary to Permanent

Hours:

8am–4pm (initial core hours). Once permanent: rotating shifts (6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm)
