• Be a team player.
• Analyze raw data, observations, guidance, and other inputs to create an accurate forecast.
• Prepare and deliver creative, compelling forecasts on‑air and on digital platforms.
• Cover severe weather as it happens on TV and digital.
• Help develop graphics, produce weather casts, and assist other members of the weather team.

• Empathy for others. A team‑builder, with a dedication to collaboration and getting it right.
• Degree or certificate in meteorology or related science.
• Strong communication skills to deliver the weather forecast in a simple, easy‑to‑understand way.
• Understanding of how to effectively deliver weather on TV, digital, and social media.
• Can work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to represent the station professionally in the community and newsroom.
• Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record.
