• Professionally clean teeth including prophies and scaling and root planing
• Presents instructions on proper personal oral hygiene
• Captures digital radiographs
• Administers topical fluoride
• Disinfects surfaces and dental equipment
• Sterilizes dental instruments according to OSHA regulations
• Takes thorough inventory of instruments through daily counts and logs
• Serve as Dental Assistant when needed
• Proper record keeping and maintenance both in manual and automated systems
• Ensure dental supplies are on hand and ordered in a timely manner
• Answer sick call requests and schedules patients in a timely manner

Full‑Time Registered Dental Hygienist

Education:

A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent. Completion of an approved dental hygiene training program; licensed to practice dental hygiene by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners.

Part‑Time Registered Dental Hygienist

Education:

A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent. Completion of an approved dental hygiene training program; licensed to practice dental hygiene by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners. (Hours can be discussed during interview)

Job Type: Full Time (Hourly)
Pay Grade Minimum: $38.00 Hourly
Pay Grade Maximum: $39.10 Hourly
Pay Statement:
Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan.

Schedule:

Day shift, up to 25% travel required, will discuss during interview.
