Office Manager - Affordable Dentures & Implants

Location: 2811 S Loop 289, #12, Lubbock, TX 79423

Job Purpose

The Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the dental office and supporting the doctor and dental team in delivering exceptional patient care. This position provides leadership across both front- and back-office operations while ensuring the practice meets its patient care, operational, and financial goals.

Essential Functions
  • Ensure fundamental systems, processes, and protocols are established and maintained within the dental office, allowing the doctor to focus on providing quality dentistry.

  • Support the development and growth of the dental team by fostering positive relationships among the doctor and team members.

  • Manage office scheduling to support daily production and patient care goals.

  • Provide leadership and motivation to office team members while proactively identifying opportunities to improve practice operations and performance.

  • Oversee front- and back-office operations, including employee relations, patient relations, performance management, and achievement of operational goals.

  • Drive revenue growth by effectively managing patient scheduling, staff productivity, treatment planning coordination, and overall practice efficiency.

  • Partner with the doctor and patients to support completion of recommended treatment plans.

  • Identify and address barriers that may prevent patients from moving forward with treatment.

  • Escalate clinical questions or concerns to the doctor as appropriate.

  • Educate patients about their insurance benefits and available payment options, including third-party patient financing.

  • Maintain a positive, professional, and patient-focused office environment.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Educational Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

General Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, management, and relationship-building skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Familiarity with dental office procedures, terminology, and workflows preferred.

  • Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly learn and utilize new software and technology.

  • Strong understanding of marketing and patient engagement strategies.

  • Competitive, goal-oriented mindset with an entrepreneurial approach to practice growth.

  • Ability to lead, motivate, and hold team members accountable to established goals and expectations.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated success with treatment planning, case acceptance, and closing strategies preferred.

  • Proven ability to contribute to increased practice production and revenue growth preferred.
