Specialized Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinical Care in West Texas.

We have a Medical Pavilion on our campus where our residents provide outpatient care to women of all ages under faculty supervision. At our Center for Perinatal Medicine, we have a diagnostic center for ultrasounds, genetics and fetal testing services that serves a large portion of West Texas. In addition to the gynecology continuity of care clinic, we have a number of other subspecialty clinics including diabetes, high risk obstetrics, reproductive endocrinology & infertility, and colposcopy.

The department also provides ample opportunities for research for students and residents. Each resident is assigned a research mentor in the first year and is expected to present a finished project in the third or fourth year at our annual resident research day. The faculty is actively engaged in a variety of research endeavors across all areas of the specialty.

We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN Specialist for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. Rank of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor and applicable salary are dependent upon the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

• Provide outpatient care including annual exams, prenatal care and gynecological procedures.
• Provide inpatient care including surgical services, labor and delivery and postpartum care.
• Participate in labor and delivery call schedule.
• Engage in quality improvement and patient care programs established by the department.
• Participate in the training of residents and medical students.

• MD/DO/MBBS.
• Foreign Medical Graduates Only: ECFMG Certification OR Equivalency Certification.
• Completion of, or in the process of completing, an Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency.

• Board Certified, through ABMS, in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records.
