Position Description
Manages and directs the day to day operations of a research center/institute or medium sized department. Plans, coordinates and supervises the operation and activities of the center/institute/department. Develops and implements policies and procedures, administers the budget, organizes tasks and sets priorities.
The Senior Director of Curriculum manages the overall design, development, and continual improvement of Texas Tech K-12 online education products. This role provides leadership to ensure continuity, creativity, and accuracy in product development. The Senior Director oversees all aspects related to the design, development, maintenance, and enhancement of K-12 course content and Credit by Exam courses. They set standards for scope, schedule, budget, student engagement, and learning efficacy.
Additionally, the Senior Director participates in the school's overall planning, prioritization, and evaluation efforts.

- Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate programs, activities, and functions to achieve school goals, ensuring their efficient operation and alignment with school priorities.
- Serve as a member of the Texas Tech K-12 Leadership Team, participating in the school's planning, development, and evaluation.
- Communicate with the leadership team on project selection and implementation, updating stakeholders on timelines, issues, and changes. Own the school's planning and prioritization for K-12 online course development.
