We are seeking a detail-oriented, technically skilled Applications Engineer to join our Inside Sales team. This role is responsible for reviewing engineered plans and specifications, selecting appropriate SIMFLO products, and preparing accurate and timely quotations. The ideal candidate will have strong comprehension of engineering data, a solid understanding of hydraulic principles, and the ability to effectively communicate with customers, vendors, and internal teams.

• Review engineered plans and specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Determine suitability and selection of SIMFLO products that meet project requirements
• Calculate cost and/or sell price of SIMFLO components and vendor buy-out items
• Ensure all selections meet engineering and specification requirements
• Prepare accurate, timely quotations and supporting documentation
• Provide outstanding customer service throughout the application and follow-up process
• Communicate with internal and external customers and vendors as needed
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of SIMFLO products and technical offerings
• Utilize company software to input and maintain customer and application data

• BS in Engineering or other technical degree required
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineered plans and specifications
• Understanding of basic hydraulic principles
• Strong math skills and ability to compute simple equations
• Proficiency with Excel, Outlook, and various computer programs
• Ability to translate specification wording into accurate product quotations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
