Responsible for managing, leading, coordinating, and administering the project from the conceptual stages through planning, engineering, procurement, construction, start‑up, performance testing, initial operations, and prime contract close‑out. Assists Business Development in expanding current work scope, developing proposal technical and pricing strategies, and preparing proposal execution plans. Supports communications and presentations to customers. Supervises the development of budgets and schedules, manages performance, reports progress, and initiates action to assure project objectives and schedules are met and work is performed within budget and specifications.
Resolves problems, coordinates final turnover to the customer, leads a high‑performance project team, and ensures delivery within contract requirements, standards of quality and safety, and customer expectations.
You’ll get the opportunity to travel across the U.S. This is a traveling position, up to 100% of the time, with potential placement on project sites in NC, VA, GA, TX, FL, IA, WY. Projects last an average of 6–8 months. Eligible candidates receive a daily per diem, relocation assistance, vehicle allowance, and a home‑rotation of one weekend per month.

Responsibilities- Assists business development in developing win plans, preliminary project execution plans, estimating plans, proposal plans, proposals, and contract reviews; drafts prime contract and proposal documents.
- Establishes an appropriate, integrated organizational structure, defines and communicates roles, responsibilities, and authorities to project team members and the customer.
- Ensures scope, design basis, and objectives are defined and that best practices are reviewed; develops detailed work plans, schedules, budgets, and procedures.
- Monitors and controls all contractual commitments; implements change‑management control systems and documents all customer communications.
- Facilitates development, communication, implementation, and continual use of Project Execution Reviews and approves Project Control systems.
- Identifies quality requirements and implements processes to achieve contractual quality; assesses customer perception of quality regularly.
- Oversees the Environmental, Health & Safety program for office and field work environments.
- Oversees Document Control and Records Management; coordinates documentation and software turnover package to the client.
- Reviews and approves bid tabulations for purchase orders and contracts; approves critical changes to these documents.
- Prepares and presents the Project Status Report (PFSR) to Lemartec.
- Monitors cash flow to minimize use of Lemartec capital resources and informs the customer of current and anticipated cash requirements.
- Assists in training new project managers and key personnel.
- Promotes Continuous Improvement; leads CI processes for the customer and Lemartec and mentors total installed cost concepts.
- Conducts periodic project and customer meetings, promotes communication, reviews performance, discusses issues, and facilitates problem resolution.
- Documents all turnover activities and obtains the customer’s final acceptance; submits the Final Project Report to Lemartec management and the customer.
- Reports to the Project Director for all project‑related needs.
- Acts as the principal contact for the project scope of work with customers and Lemartec management throughout the project duration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction, or 5 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree.
