Financial Consultant

Financial Consultant, EB – Minneapolis, MN

We are looking to add a Financial Consultant to join our Employee Benefits team.

• Provides Financial/Clinical consulting to clients with respect to their employee benefit health and welfare plans.
• Responsible for presenting financial/clinical data to clients.
• Runs and analyzes client monthly financial reporting (MFSR) and presents MFSRs to clients.
• Provides complex reporting, presenting results to clients.
• Participates in development of financial reporting enhancements.
• Assists in development of new CLUE reporting.
• Takes prominent role in the development and enhancements of new and existing client budget, financial and clinical analysis and tools.
• Builds and maintains Financial/Clinical models to support client account teams; mentors and trains junior staff as necessary.
• Recommends complex strategic and tactical initiatives based upon clinical and financial data.

• Education: High school diploma; college degree preferred.
• Experience: 5-7 years of applicable experience, preferably in the insurance industry (brokerage or provider organization).
• Licensing: Active state‑specific Life & Health Insurance agent’s license required, or the ability to acquire license within three months of hire.
