Patient Scheduler – Diagnostic Imaging at Covenant Medical Center (Providence)

Coordinate patient schedules and input a variety of appointments into the department’s scheduling system. Schedule outside appointments as needed and communicate with patients and staff regarding all scheduled appointments. Exhibit knowledge of departmental procedures and appropriate scheduling of patient exams, and accurately obtain patient records for clerical work‑up.

• Input and manage patient appointments in the scheduling system.
• Coordinate with departments to schedule outside appointments when required.
• Communicate appointment details and confirmations to patients and staff.
• Verify patient records for accurate clerical completion.
• Follow departmental procedures for exam scheduling.

• Education sufficient to satisfy certification, license, or registration requirements.

• 1 year of medical scheduling or receptionist experience.
• 2 years of customer service experience.

$15.40 – $23.08 per hour; additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, and bonuses.
