Patient Admissions Coordinator

Description

Under the direction of the PAS supervisor/manager, the Patient Access Representative is responsible for assisting patients during the on-site registration and arrival process for scheduled and unscheduled visits as well as completing financial clearance functions.

• Associate’s Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration.
• 3 years of experience within Patient Access in a business office setting. Experience with insurance eligibility systems.
• 3 years of experience utilizing medical terminology in a job setting. Knowledge of medical billing codes.
• 1 year of knowledge of Epic Applications.
