Dietician

The Registered Dietitian provides expert nutritional care to promote health and manage disease. This role encompasses screening, assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring, and consultations in compliance with facility policies, Nutrition Service procedures, and hospital regulations governing the practice of dietetics.

• Screen and assess clients’ nutritional needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Assist in menu planning and recommend therapeutic diets and supplements.
• Advise clients and families on nutrition principles and healthy eating habits.
• Collaborate with physicians and dietary staff to ensure quality food service delivery.
• Maintain accurate documentation and monitor compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Provide nutritional care to inpatient and outpatient populations across diverse patient groups.

• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field.
• Registered Dietitian (or eligibility for state endorsement).
• Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
• Experience working with eating disorders and substance use disorder populations strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support patient education and collaboration with healthcare teams.

• Preferred experience in facilities specializing in eating disorders and substance use disorder treatment.
• Advanced training in clinical nutrition or specialized patient populations.

• SERV Safe or equivalent food safety certification.
