TTUHSC, at its sole discretion, may initiate new H-1B I-129 visa petitions in accordance with the directive issued by Governor Abbott. Approval from the Texas Workforce Commission is required.

On a limited, case-by-case basis, the institution may also sponsor eligible individuals for change-of-status or change-of-employer petitions for qualifying positions. TTUHSC will not pay the $100,000 fee, if applicable.

Supports the program director by performing administrative duties related to planning, directing and coordinating both the academic and operational activities of the program.

• Program and project management:
  Oversee the assigned day-to-day operations and logistics of the program. This includes creating schedules, assisting with recruitment, and evaluating results.
• Financial oversight:
  Track expenditures, handle invoicing, and process travel.
• Communication and reporting:
  Serve as the primary liaison between program staff, stakeholders, partners, and other departments.
• Administrative support:
  Maintain program records, manage dataentry, and organize meetings and events. They must ensure all administrative processes run smoothly.
• Compliance and policy:
  Ensure that the program operates incompliance with internal policies and external regulations. In specialized fields like healthcare or education, this involves adeep knowledge of specific standards.

Special projects assigned by program or director of education.

High school plus five years experience in related field. Additional education may substitute for experience on a year for yearbasis.
