# Director of Systems and Infrastructure## Director of Systems and Infrastructure Starnik is a global software company transforming the utility industry with a next generation cloud SAAS solution.

Your work will directly impact the daily life of our team, utility organizations and their customers around the world, and you’ll work as part of our engineering team.
** Responsibilities will include**-Building and maintaining highly secure and reliable infrastructure in development, test, staging and production environments for our cloud platform. Monitoring it closely and working with Rackspace, Azure and other vendors to ensure performance, stability and the highest security.

-Implementing security and controls in all areas of operations in order to satisfy PCI DSS compliance and SOC certification.

-Management of applications and systems such as VMWare, Meraki, Windows, Git Hub, etc.

-Ensuring there is adequate backup and redundancy at all levels of systems.

-Implementing and testing disaster recovery plans and processes for all systems and networks.

-Building and leading a highly skilled team to manage IT infrastructure as we scale
** Minimum Skills and qualifications:**-BS in engineering or related field or equivalent experience-At least 3 years’ experience in Windows and network administration
** Other certifications a plus

-You have experience with Windows maintenance, VMWare, SQL server, Azure (or some of them at least – we can bring on expertise in other areas)**(Bonus) You have experience with Git Hub, Meraki, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Project etc.
