Lead Security Technician

• Direct Hire, Permanent
• Midland / Lubbock / Odessa

• Very much a field position. Installation and programming of security systems - (Avigilon, Genetec, etc.)
• Hourly pay w / OT | Expect ~50 hour work weeks
• Driving to jobsites, 1-3 hours any given day | Company vehicle provided
• Guide / mentor junior Techs

• Assisting with building project schedules.
• Managing on-site quality to ensure that project standards are met.
• Overseeing on-site resources, including subcontractors.
• Identifying and escalating project issues promptly.
• Identifying and obtaining change orders as necessary.
• Assisting with technical installation, programming, and troubleshooting.
• Providing regular status updates to the Project Manager.
• Interfacing on-site with General Contractors, other vendors, and stakeholders.
• Acting as the on-site safety manager to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Managing on-site inventory.
• Serving as a liaison between the Project Manager and the technical team.
• Marking up engineering documents for clarity and accuracy.
• Managing equipment matrix and commissioning documents.

• 5+ years of experience as a Security Technician - Genetec, Avigilon, etc.
• Mentor junior Techs
• Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects or portions of projects.
• People skills : customer facing position

• Travel as necessary to support company and customer needs. Any given day you could be driving 1-2 hours to a client / job site
• Company Vehicle provided.
