Commercial Glass General Manager

Position title

Commercial Glass General Manager Description The  Commercial Glass General Manager is responsible for the overall profitability and strategic direction of the glass division. This role is responsible for working with finance to set budgets and goals, manage the project managers and crews, overseeing the bidding process, ensure the safety protocols are followed, maintain client and vendor relationships, and oversee the development of the overall team.

Lead teams to ensure that company culture is developed in a positive manner.

This is a full-time position within Can Tex. The Commercial Glass General Manager will report to the Operations Manager, Vice President of Can Tex and the President/CEO of Can Tex.

Responsibilities
* Oversee the estimating and evaluate the entire job process.
* Work with finance to ensure all necessary insurance, bonding and financial due diligence is completed.
* Routinely visit job sites to ensure work is being done accurately and efficiently.
* Oversee coordination of scheduling with General Cont actors to ensure jobs are completed in a timely manner.
* Work with finance and Project Managers to ensure timely billing and pay apps are completed.
* Project Manage jobs
* Work with the team to increase effectiveness and lower costs.
* Ensure safety protocols are developed and followed.
* Work with finance and Project Managers to review completed jobs for performance.
* Assist in implementation of the company's ongoing operations and procedures.
* Develop and review overall structure of the division on a regular basis.
* Develop contingency plans for distribution.
* Build development plans for key employees.
* Exemplify the company Core Values.

Qualifications
* Minimum of 2-year degree preferred or relevant experience
* Valid TX Driver's License
* Clean Driving Record
* Preferred- 5+ years' experience in Glass & Mirror.
