The Texas Military Department (TMD) is commanded by The Adjutant General of Texas, the state's senior military official appointed by the governor, and is comprised of the Texas Military Department (State Federal Civilian Employees), the Texas Army National Guard (TXARNG), the Texas Air National Guard (TXANG) and the Texas State Guard (TXSG).

Performs highly advanced (senior-level) supervisory maintenance and construction work. Oversees maintenance and construction staff involved in the installation, care and repair of state facilities and equipment located in Region I. Schedules maintenance and construction work and oversees requisition of materials and supplies. Assumes the Regional Manager duties in his absence. Supervises the work of employees and contractors. Reports to the Region I Manager.

Works under minimal supervision, with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

WORK HOURS:

Monday and – Friday, 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week
