Essential

Duties And Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials and finished assemblies for compliance with standards, drawings, and purchase order requirements.
• Document inspection results through receiving and final inspection reports.
• Generate Product Inspection Reports (PIRs) for all non-conforming materials.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineering to identify root causes and assist in implementing corrective actions.
• Perform additional quality-related tasks as assigned.
• Availability to work Monday through Saturday as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in dimensional inspection.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Proficient in the use of standard inspection tools and measuring equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a pump fabrication or machine shop environment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with ISO 9000 quality standards.

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand or sit for 8+ hours per shift.
• Frequent reaching, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Must be able to lift and handle parts up to 35 lbs.; heavier items will be lifted using a hoist.

Work Environment

• Typical manufacturing shop environment with seasonal temperature changes.
• Exposure to noise—ear protection required.
• Work around electrical components, motors, and wiring.
• Required PPE includes: safety glasses, ear plugs, safety shoes (with toe and metatarsal guards), gloves, and work uniform.
